PJ was also quoted that kung bibigyan ng pagkakataon, he will try to guest sa GMA for this movie with Regine. Balitang nag- sound off na rin ang GMA to help Regine and PJ’s movie. Sana ganito rin ang mangyari when GMA Films’ Ouija opens naman on July. Starring Judy Ann Santos and Jolina Magdangal, ABS-CBN star pa rin naman si Juday and wala ring problema kay Jolens if she is asked to promote this sa dati niyang home station. Hopefully, ABS-CBN returns the favor GMA will be doing for Paano Kita Iibigin? This way, happy lahat.

HOW is it working with Regine Velasquez in “Paano Kita Iibigin?” “It’s a wonderful experience kasi she’s a true professional,” he says. “She’s also very talented, maga-ling na kumanta, maga-ling pa umarte. She’s also sexy and she knows how to carry her kind of sexiness.”

He confesses that his plan is to be a pastor later in their Victory Christian Fellowship. “Siyempre, there’ll come a time that my showbiz career won’t be this busy anymore and I plan to take the leadership training at the Every Nation Leadership Institute at Fort Bonifacio to prepare being a pastor. I want to help spread the word of God further.”

JUDY Ann Santos is turning a year older on May 11 and both top networks are preparing special birthday presentations for her. This is understandable since Juday has a new movie with GMA Films, “Ouija (Seance),” and she also has a new TV soap on ABS-CBN, “Ysabella.” The question now is where would she celebrate her birthday first? GMA-7 has offered to make their Sunday noontime show, “SOP,” as the venue for her birthday bash and they want to schedule it on May 13. Does this mean ABS will jump the gun and celebrate Juday’s birthday on May 6 in their own noontime show, “ASAP”? Juday is really very lucky and is a most coveted property as she’s the only top star who can do this crossing over between the two warring networks.

TIYAK na aabangan ang Showbiz Central sa April 29 para makita kung totoo ang pina-plug ng GMA-7 na new brand ng showbiz reporting ang hatid nito, more daring, fresher ang approach, informative at kung anu-ano pang pangako.

Bukod sa segments gaya ng Atrivida, Celebrity Tracker at Artista Facts, may Hollywood news at may Central Jury na maggi-guest to interrogate celebrity subjects based sa hawak na evidences.

Ready na sina Pia Guanio, John Lapus at Raymond Gutierrez sa sinabi ni Wilma Galvante sa show na sure hit daw sa viewers.

Samantala, wala pa ring birthday gift si Pia kay Vic Sotto, na birthday sa Saturday, dahil wala siyang maisip ibigay sa taong kumpleto na sa gamit.
Noong birthday niya, isang DVD ng pictures ng boyfriend ang ibinigay sa kanya complete with soundtrack. Happy sila sa kanilang relasyon at never naging problema ang age gap.

“Sakto lang ang age namin dahil ang lalaki, matagal maka-catch up sa age ng babae. Nagka-boyfriend na ako ng younger sa akin at ako ang nagdala,” say ni Pia.

Sigurado si Pia na manonood si Vic ng Showbiz Central dahil pinapanood din siya sa Chika Minute at pagkatapos, nagti-text ng comment sa kanyang damit, make-up at ayos.

Sa sinabi ni Vic sa S-Files na greatest fear niyang mawala sa buhay niya si Pia, sinabi ng TV host na naniniwala siya sa BF.

Kung magtutuluy-tuloy nga raw ang maganda nilang samahan, masasabi rin niyang si Vic na ang huling lalaki sa buhay niya, in the same way na vocal ang huli sa pagsasabing siya na ang huling babae sa buhay nito.

Oo, naitanong din kung ilang beses silang nagkaroon ng kissing scene sa idinirek na ito ni Joyce Bernal at medyo daring sila pareho ni Piolo Pascual rito.

Pero siyempre, iba pa rin kung ang itatanong ng press ay ang tungkol sa kanila ni Ogie Alcasid. Kahit pa-tweetums pa nu’ng gabing ’yon si Regine, bakas sa mukha niya na happy siya sa kanyang lovelife.

Para ngang gusto niyang sabihin sa press: “Ano ba kayo? ’Wag na kayong nagtatatanong ng tanong na alam n’yo naman ang sagot!”

Eh, alam mo naman ang mga press, mas type nilang marinig mismo kay Regine na, “Yes, kami na ni Ogie!” at nu’ng gabing ’yon, isa lang ang pinatunayan ni Regine — tao lang siya ... nagmamahal at minamahal.

Sabi naman ni Regine, na mag-iikut-ikot din sa Channel 2 to promote, “Naku, sa totoo lang, friendly competition lang ’yan. Magkakaibigan ang mga ’yan!”

More than 200 Kapuso stars gather for the new GMA-7 station ID

More than 200 stars, the biggest number of stars, ang nag-participate sa latest station ID ng GMA-7.

Also the biggest congregation of yayas and PAs (personal alalays) in one place, ginawa ang shoot ng GMA-7 2007 station ID sa Studio 3 kahapon, April 11, from 3 PM onwards. Si Louie Ignacio ang nagdirek ng nasabing station ID wherein all the participants were in white tops.

Napakaraming Kapuso stars ang dumating at naka-schedule kung kaya't kinailangang mahati ang shoot into two batches, ang pang-1 p.m. na na-shoot ng 3 PM at ang pang-5 PM na balitang nagsimula ng 6 PM ang shoot.

Sumobra sa dami ng mga artista ang GMA-7 for this station ID that some of the lesser stars, like the idle StarStruck graduates, na-cancel na lang ang participation.

The same "Kapuso" theme ang kakantahin sa station ID with the top GMA singers doing the singing, led by Regine Velasquez Jolina Magdangal, among others.

Among the first batch who were lounging outside the studio were the StarStruck batches 1 to 4, like Jennylyn Mercado na sweet na sweet with Patrick Garcia; Mark Herras na pang-batch two pala, pero nag-request na maisama sa batch one; Katrina Halili; Mike Tan; Nadine Samonte; CJ Muere; Alfred Vargas; Bong Revilla; and even the Pinoy Pop Superstar World Qualifying contestants na dumating sa Pilipinas last Monday.

First batch din ang mga taga-GMA News and Public Affairs dahil wrapping up sina Paolo Bediones and Pia Arcangel by the time we arrived around 4 PM.

Balitang second batch naman sina Vic Sotto, although nandoon na ang Eat Bulaga! lady boss na si Ms. Malou Choa-Fagar as early as 4 PM dahil may iba namang Eat Bulaga! stars sa first batch.

Ang combined powers ng PUM (Production Unit Managers), EP (Executive Producers), and AP (Associate Producers) of all GMA-7 shows ang gumawa ng schedule para mapagsama-sama ang lahat ng Kapuso artists.

Punuan din ang sasakyan in and outside of the GMA-7 compound kung kaya't sa Timog side na lang nakaparada ang mga naghahabaang limousine, a Bentley, a Mustang and even what looks like a Rolls Royce.

Airing after GMA Telebabad, Who’s Your Daddy Now? also stars Jean Garcia, Paolo Contis, Julia Lopez, and Celia Rodriguez. GMA KiliTV’s Tuesday sitcom Bahay Mo Ba ‘To? boasts of new sets and new gimmicks that would certainly drive viewers even crazier.

NUTS’ NEW PLAYMATESMeanwhile, in line with “Todo Saya Party!” Nuts Entertainment will begin its 4th Anniversary celebration on Wednesday, April 18, by welcoming its new playmates, Alfred Vargas and Joyce Jimenez (who will be with the show for a month). DALAWANG Sine-Novela yata ang ilalagay sa Drama Rama Sa Hapon ng GMA.

Ipinapalabas pa rin ang Muli nina Alfred Vargas and Carrie Lee after Daisy Siete and Princess Charming nina Mark Herras, Jackie Rice, Charming Lagusad and Kristal Reyes after Muli naman na part ng GMA Drama Rama Sa Hapon but they’re independent of the upcoming umbrella show ng GMA na manggagaling sa sine.

Heard though that after magtapos ang both shows na sa awa ng Diyos ay hindi kami nakakatanggap ng press releases, parehong Sine-Novela ang ipapalit.

Kung hindi kami nagkakamali, sa Muli slot ilalagay ang Sinasamba Kita at sa Princess Charming naman ang isa pa na pagbibidahan nga nina Stef Prescott and JC De Vera dahil both production team behind Muli and Princess Charming ang hahawak.

Jean Garcia stars in her first sitcom

First time palang magkakaroon ng sitcom ang dramatric actress na si Jean Garcia sa tinagal-tagal niya sa television industry.

Kasama si Jean sa bagong sitcom ng GMA-7, ang Who's Your Daddy? na siyang papalit sa timeslot ng magtatapos nang Lagot Ka, Isusumbong Kita, kaya gano'n na lang ang excitement nitong sumabak sa mundo ng comedy.

Matatandaang nung nasa ABS-CBN pa lang si Jean ay kung ilang drama series at teleseryes na rin ang pinagdaanan niya kaya welcome na welcome sa kanya ang pagpapatawa naman this time.

Ang nag-represent sa Pinas last year sa Mr. Gay International ay si Robbie Tarroza na siya nang co-producer ng local contest this year.

Sa May 10 na ito magsisimula at magiging ka-back-to-back ng MK.
Kasama rin sa cast si Marky Cielo, Aljur Abrenica, Stef Prescott at Jesi Corcuera. Masaya ito’t pinagsama-sama sa isang show ang naka-MU ni Kris na si Aljur at ang na-link sa kanyang si Jesi.

Tiyak na magpapasiklabang magpakita ng galing ang dalawa at ’di patatalo si Mart. Tapos, isama pa si Stef, na bago si Kris, crush ni Mart at inarbor sa mga kasama.

NGAYON ang dating ng challengers ng Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3 mula sa ibang bansa. Ang mananalo sa kanila ang magiging pang-siyam na qualifier sa grand showdown ng singing search ng GMA-7 na gaganapin sa Araneta Coliseum sa June 2.

Darating ang representatives ng search ng PPS na ginawa sa iba’t ibang bansa kabilang ang United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Canada, Los Angeles, New York at San Francisco.

SA July pa ang playdate ng Ouija ng GMA Films, but this early, inaayos na ang billing nina Judy Ann Santos at Jolina Magdangal.

Sabi ni Mr. Jun Magdangal, ama ng huli, ang napag-usapan ay parehong 100 percent ang laki ng pangalan ng dalawa at 50 percent ang laki ng pangalan nina Iza Calzado at Rhian Ramos sa poster ng movie.

Kung mauuna ang name ni Judy Ann, lalagyan ng “and” ang name ni Jolina na siyang mahuhuli bago ang title ng movie and vice-versa.

Pareho ang size at font ng kanilang mga pangalan at pati laki ng litratong gagamitin, pareho ng laki. Nag-agree na raw dito si Alfie Lorenzo, manager ni Judy Ann, kaya walang magiging isyu sa billing.

Kaya lang, baka raw palitan ang title ng movie dahil trademark pala ang Ouija, pero idu-double check ng GMA Films at kung magkaka-problema’y babaguhin ang title.

Habang nananatiling number one sa ratings ang GMA sa Mega Manila at matapos palakasin ang signal sa mga pangunahing lalawigan kabilang ang Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Baguio, Dagupan at Bacolod, tinututukan naman ngayon ng istasyon ang iba pang regional expansion projects na naglalayong palakasin ang signal ng Siyete at pagandahin ang program distribution capabilities sa iba pang lugar sa bansa.

Umaabot sa P170 million ang gagastusin ng GMA para sa mga naturang proyekto, kung saan ang ilan ay tapos na.

Ang transmitter facilities ng GMA sa Mt. Sto. Tomas, Benguet, ay nakumpleto na nu’ng Enero at dahil sa komprehensibong upgrade, mas maraming kabahayan sa La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, at Pampanga ang nakakapanood ng mas malinaw na GMA.

Kampante naman ang mga taga-CDO at General Santos City na mapapanood sa Kapuso Network ang pinakaaabangang laban nina Manny Pacquiao at Jorge Solis sa April 15.

Matatag nang nakatayo ang transmitter tower ng GMA sa CDO. Ang relay station ng kumpanya sa General Santos City ay natapos na nu’ng Marso.

Ang GenSan station ay may five-kilowatt full antenna system. At sa darating na Hulyo, ang transmitter ng GenSan ay ia-upgrade pa sa 10-kilowatts.

Ang Batangas at ang mga karatig-probinsiya nito ay makararanas na rin ng mas maganda at mas malinaw na GMA signal oras na matapos ang GMA relay site sa Mt. Banoy.

Dalawang proyekto rin sa Bicol ang sumikad na.

Nagsimula na ang preparasyon para sa construction ng Naga tower at tinatayang matatapos ang signal upgrade at transmitter project ngayong Hulyo. Ang tower at antenna system sa Legaspi City ay ia-upgrade na rin.

Inaasahan namang matatapos na ang construction ng GMA Iloilo TV studio sa Hunyo.

Mag-uumpisa ngayong buwan ang construction ng GMA studio complex sa Davao at Dagupan at inaasahang matatapos ang mga ito sa Oktubre.

Sa kasalukuyan, patuloy ang paghahatid ng GMA ng locally-produced news at entertainment programs sa Cebu, Iloilo at Davao.

Inaasahan ni GMA Network EVP and chief operating officer Gilberto Duavit Jr. na ang mga naturang proyekto ay magdudulot ng mas maraming bilang ng mga manonood ng GMA sa probinsiya.

May itinatayo ring dalawang state-of-the-art studios ang GMA Network sa compound nito sa Quezon City. Ang mga pinakabago at pinakamodernong studio equipment at facilities ay ilalagak sa naturang studio complex, na tinatayang gagastusan ng aabot sa P1 billion.

Nananatiling number one ang GMA Network sa Mega Manila base sa inilabas na total day ratings data ng AGB Nielsen mula March 4 to 17.

Sa nabanggit na period, nagtala ang GMA Network ng average total day rating na 17.3 percent samantalang 14.7 naman ang sa ABS-CBN.

Ayon sa TNS, 51 percent ng TV households sa urban areas ng buong bansa ang nasa Mega Manila, kung saan nangunguna ang Kapuso Network sa ratings.

Ang kabuuan ng Luzon, kasama ang Mega Manila ang bumubuo ng 74 percent ng TV households at ang natitirang 26 percent ay pinaghahatian naman ng urban areas sa Visayas at Mindanao.

`Bakekang' posts high rating on farewell show

The Carlo J. Caparas classic even posted a high 39.7 overnight ratings with its farewell episode last Friday.

For those who missed it or want to see it again, GMA is airing a two-hour replay tonight at 8 to 10.

Due to the success of the series, the Kapuso network is giving Sunshine Dizon a new series, while the management is also talking to Carlo J Caparas and wife Donna Villa for another surefire hit teleseries.

Magkakaroon ng bagong ka-back-to-back show ang Magic Kamison, ang The Boys Next Door.

Kung basically pambabae ang Magic Kamison ni Gladys Guevara with the exemption of the second story arc "Little Big Rufo" starring Dingdong Dantes and Mura, ang magiging back-to-back show nito will be primarily boys naman, ang The Boys Next Door.

To be headlined by StarStruck III Ultimate Sole Survivor Marky Cielo, this will be the first show of the recent winners of StarStruck IV as Marky will share the lead with StarStruck IV Ultimate Pair Mart Escudero and Kris Bernal, Ultimate Hunk Aljur Abrenica, StarStruck 4 Avengers Stef Prescott, Kiko Junio, and Jesi Corcuera.

Sa May 10 ang premiere nito and will share time with Magic Kamison as in tigpu-45 minutes each lang after SOP. This is to be directed by Jun Lana and Aloy Adlawan head writes.

The highlight of GMA-7’s Holy Week programming this year would be the airing, for the first time on Philippine television, of two romantic blockbuster hits: GMA Films’ “Moments of Love,” a movie about the mystical love between lovers from two different times, Dingdong Dantes and Iza Calzado, airing on Good Friday at 10p.m. and the Angel Locsin-Richard Gutierrez starrer, Regal Films’ “I Will Always Love You,” airing on Maundy Thursday at 10 p.m.

Other GMA Films’ releases that countless moviegoers would enjoy are “Lovestruck,” starring StarStruck alumni led by Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras, airing on Maundy Thursday at 5 p.m.; Richard and Angel’s blockbuster romantic flick “Let the Love Begin,” airing on Good Friday at 8 p.m.; and “Mulawin the Movie,” the big-screen adaptation of the toprating telefantasya also starring Richard and Angel, airing on Black Saturday at 9:15 p.m. Vic Sotto’s fantasy hit, “Enteng Kabisote,” also returns to TV screens on Black Saturday at 5 p.m.

Apart from these hit movies, there will be other special programs. On Maundy Thursday, April 5, kids can enjoy a marathon of their favorite cartoons beginning at 10 a.m. with Hamtaro, Jackie Chan Adventures, and Detective Conan, followed by the fairy tale adventure “Barbie and The Magic of Pegasus,” airing at 11:30 a.m.

Afterwards, “The Best of Wish Ko Lang” airs at 1 p.m., followed by these special Holy Week presentations: “Ang Sapi,” starring Maricel Laxa and Albert Martinez, at 2 p.m.; and “Perfect,” starring Vic Sotto, Sherilyn Reyes, and Pia Guanio, among others, at 3:30 p.m. After “Lovestruck,” GMA airs the mini-drama “The Score,” starring Cogie Domingo, Rhian Ramos, and Dominic Roco at 7 p.m., followed by the grand Bakekang Showdown�"a replay of the top-rating soap’s final episodes, featuring a showdown between Kristal (Lovi Poe) and Charming (Yasmien Kurdi), with Bakekang (Sunshine Dizon)�"at 8 p.m., before “I Will Always Love You.”

On Good Friday, kids will have another dose of their favorite cartoons in the morning (Hamtaro, Jackie Chan Adventures, and Detective Conan), this time highlighted by the Barbie animated movie, “Barbie in Rapunzel,” at 11:30 a.m. This would be followed by “The Best of Wish Ko Lang” at 1 p.m., and the Holy Week special “Propeta,” at 2 p.m., which tackles the issues of fortune-telling, bad luck, and superstitions in the lives of Christians; and the dramas Tahanan, starring Joey de Leon, Michael V, Keempee de Leon, Allan K, Jose Manalo, BJ Forbes, and Pen Medina, at 3:30 p.m.; “Ang Lagusan,” starring Gina Pareño, Alfred Vargas, Alcriz Alzura, and Richard Reynoso at 5 p.m.; and “Ang Kasagutan,” starring Jean Garcia, Tonton Gutierrez, Cherry Pie Picache, and Mylene Dizon, at 7 p.m."before the back-to-back airing of GMA Films’ “Let the Love Begin” and “Moments of Love.”

Black Saturday also opens with the kids’ cartoon treats, including the animated special “Barbie in The Nutcracker” at 11:30 a.m., followed by “The Best of Wish Ko Lang” at 1p.m. and the drama “Ama, Anak” at 2 p.m. The News and Public Affairs show 100% Pinoy takes over at 3 p.m., followed by “Sino Ang Bestfriend Ko?” a special program starring Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon playing best friends getting into conflict, at 3:30 p.m. A drama starring heartthrob Dennis Trillo, Unico Hijo, airs at 7 p.m. after “Enteng Kabisote” and before “Mulawin the Movie.”
