ARIEL AND MAVERICK MOVING TO GMA7

PRESENT at the presscon of “Zaido” was the comic tandem of Ariel and Maverick, who gained fame at ABC-5. This indicates that there’s truth to the story that they have moved to GMA7. We heard they’ll be hosting a new game show to be pitted against “Game KNB” of ABS-CBN. This is titled “Send or Save” and will be the local version of the imported game show “Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?”

Right now, what GMA7 shows on weekdays at 11:30 a.m. is “Takeshi’s Castle,” which rates lower than “Game KNB” hosted by the Edu Manzano. Will Ariel and Maverick prove to be better and wittier hosts than Edu? Well, that remains to be seen.
