Marian Rivera is the new Marimar!

IT’S final, si Marian Rivera na ang Marimar.

Angel Locsin’s loss is Marian’s gain as GMA gave her the coveted role that made Thalia a superstar, ang Mexican tele novela na Marimar na gagawan ng Pinoy version.

In-announced ito last Wednesday night sa 24 Oras. Today ang story conference ng Marimar to be directed by the nagbabalik Kapuso na si Joyce Bernal.

Makakasama ni Marian si Dingdong Dantes who will play Sergio at ito rin ang pagbabalik acting ni Richard Gomez who had to rest from showbiz early this year as he decided to run for a senatorial seat.

Hindi pa kumpleto ang cast as of this writing but another hunk who will be part of the new soap of GMA is Mike Tan playing a new character na wala sa Mexican version of the soap.
